We are continuing on with tonal layers of 2B and 3B graphite paying particular attention to smoothness and tightness of the shade to better accept detailing techniques in future stages.
These earlier layers are a bit monotonousness but extremely important to the overall density of the image which really personifies the look of true realism.
Ensure you keep your pencils ends long and sharp so achieving this shade consistency is less frustrating a consequence of a dull and irregular shade.
